If I only make one pot of coffee per day, in the morning, will I have an issue with the water not being hot?

MikeR I guess I don't totally understand the question. DO you mean the water you add in? Or do you mean once brewed?
The machine does have a warming plate, so the brewed coffee will be kept warm just fine. If you mean what you add to the reservoir, that will be fine, the boiler will get it to the temperature that it needs whether you add warm or cold water to it.
