Cafe La Semeuse Whole Bean Espresso
Will this work in a super-automatic espresso machine? It would be good to have a category of beans that aren't oily on the website that work with such machines.

rorlando Hi Mark, The bag price on the Cafe La Semeuse is for a 8.8 ounce bag. I hope you enjoy this coffee as much as I do. Happy brewing, Randy
My husband and I enjoy a smooth rich coffee espresso with a nice creamy top and also love cappuchino's in the morning. What is your suggestion on the best coffee to use? I would hate to spend $45 on the wrong choice. Was thinking about the Cafe La Semeuse.
I currently have been buying Caribou Coffee Espresso Beans from the coffee house which are pretty good. Illy coffee comes off to be too bitter for our taste. I have used Lavazza brands before but can't seem to find the best.
What do you recommend.

rorlando Nicole, This coffee has an amazing taste profile. To start out with you’ll get notes of chocolate, spices, and citrus flavors. The coffee is very smooth and never bitter. It will finish off with a thick head of crema with a reddish tint to it. I really love this coffee allot and use it every day in my super automatic machine. For the price you can't go wrong with the Cafe La Semeuse. I highly recommend you try this coffee. Happy Brewing Randy!!!
This question isn't directly about Cafe La Semeuse Espresso blend. I just wanted to know what kind of coffee (on or not on this website) produces a good strong flavor? In other words, the coffee is very intense and strong but smooth as well

I'm not a big coffee drinker and i normally drink decaf. I bought this in whole bean and self-grind it. This coffee is not bitter and very smooth. This comes in regular and not decaf and was pleasantly surprised this coffee didn't give me the jitters. I will be buying more.

I usually research beans forever before making a change. I have been brewing Lavazza beans for a while and decided to switch up to La Semeuse Espresso beans. They have a great balanced, non bitter flavor. More importantly, they really wake you up. A good 3oz espresso will have you wide awake! Enjoy!

This coffee was very smooth and balanced in flavor. It was the first coffee I tried with my new Expobar Office Lever. I ground the coffee with a Rancilo Rocky Doserless set at 8 (per WLL's recommendations) and on the first try got a great cup of espresso with a beautiful crema head. This coffee...

I usually run Java Joe's and pick up Illy when I want a treat. The beans are very dry and smell great. I used a bag of these beans and followed them up with a can of Illy and found that while both were very smooth and delicious, I enjoyed the Cafe La Semeuse more. I highly recommend this...

I have used Illy for years, interspersing others that friends recommended and always went back. That is, until La Semeuse. Espresso that is rich yet never bitter, hint of chocolate, extraordinary crema and smoothness. For 'regular' coffee, you can't beat their classic.

mjackson ♦ Robert,
This beans works exceptionally well in any sort of super automatic. It is a lighter roasted bean and happens to be one of the smoothest espressos we offer. You will find it especially enjoyable out of a high quality ceramic burr machine like the Gaggia Academia. We do have a sampler pack for super auto machines. We have tried to do a good job of letting you know what beans are dark roasted. I hope this helps and thanks for asking.
