I have just received a Cuisinart EM-100 as a gift and would like to lower the temperature at which the "water heating" light sets off.
I live in Santa Fe New Mexico and the boiling point of water here is about 8 degrees lower than at sea level.
The effect is that as I operate the machine to make an expresso, after the heating light has gone out, the water comes into the cup as mainly steam which kills the crema. I believe the setting must be set around 204 degrees F which is boiling point here.
Is it possible to adjust the temperature to a lower setting to work at this altitude (7000 ft ASL)
