The redesigned Delonghi Magnifica 3500 improves upon the original model with the addition of a stainless steel-lined brew boiler for increased durability. Mary Ann Colvin Andrea, it is possible to steam/froth by removing the carafe and using the pannarello wand.
Hello - what is the maximum cup height that will fit in this cool machine? Thanks.

Michael Rosso ♦ Lani...Thank you for your posting on our Super Wall. You can fit a 3.75" cup under the brew spouts. Thanks.
After using the machine for a few months I imagine that there will be coffee oil residue build up on the grinder. How do i clean the grinder?
thanks,
darrell

mjackson ♦ Darrell,
There is no way to really clean the grinder. Some of the older machines you would be able to take apart the grinder. On most of the newer machines that is not possible. My best advice is to not use a really oily bean as in the long run it may cause issues.
Is there any way to make the frothed/steamed milk come out hotter? The temperature of the espresso shot itself is fine, but the frothed milk created by the built-in frother is just "warm" at best.

mjackson ♦ Eugene,
There is not a way on the machine to adjust steam or milk temperature. If you do not think is hot enough you may want to try heating the milk a little first. It does a good job but is not designed to make the milk really hot.
I am very disappointed in my new machine. The shots are great, but the milk is not creamy enough. I keep it very cold like I'm supposed to, but it is somewhat runny, not creamy. Any ideas?

TechMilanoItalia Tracy, what kind of milk are you using? 2%, Whole, Skim? You may need to clean the lid of the milk container. Just make sure you're set to "Cappuccino" on the little slider. Try that as well.
