I have a steam wand issue with FF x1. The wand is too short. I can hardly see anything when I froth. I know FF do not have any alternative, but do you guys know what else is compatilble and longer?? Thanks

Sanfam ♦ Unfortunately, we don't have much helpful information for the Francis Francis product line. Hello - I am interested in the X1 Francis Francis machine.
But I am definitely interested to be able to use ground espresso not just the pods.
Do the new X1 machines allow for lose ground coffee??? It seems silly to me that this isn't plainly stated.. maybe Illy doesnt want us to know because they are pushing the pods?
Also I found out that the old X1 Trio was sort of the jack of all trades at about $999... is there anywhere to get the old Trio machine now?

Michael Rosso ♦ Michael...Thank you for your posting on our Super Wall. The Francis Francis machines only use the Iper Illy Capsules now. You will not be able to use pre-gound espresso or E.S.E pods in these machines. The Trio is no longer in production anymore. Thanks.
