The best thing to do is call Francis Francis at 1-year parts and labor directly through FrancisFrancis. Warranty questions can be directed to FrancisFrancis at 1-877-854-4141 .
I have the FrancisFrancis Y1 and the Capresso FrothPro. I consider both of these to be two of the best purchases I have ever made. My wife and I love the iLLY iPerEspresso capsules and the convenience of the Y1. I know that this may not replace a good semiautomatic espresso machine, but for a...

To whom it may concern,
I am looking for a semi automatic espresso machine. I like the idea of using pods because it is cleaner. But I also want a machine that is capable of making really good quality microfoam so that I would be able to throw a freepour rosetta a other designs on top.
Is the Francis Francis X7 capable of making a good shot of espresso with a rich golden creama and is it also capable of producing the smooth, silky milk froth with a shiny finish to accomplish what I am hoping for? I am also concerned with counter space.
If this machine is not the best can you recomend a machine that would be good for me?
Thank you for your time,
Arlene Sulkis

mjackson ♦ This machine is pretty good. I am not sure about the steaming for latte art because of design of steam wand. I would look at a Gaggia, such as the classic, and be sure to order a pod basket. It is a separate basket designed for pods. You will also want to get the latte art pannarello wand as well. This will allow you to use technique to get great microfoam. This would make a good combination that will work well.
I like to know how many watt ?
and more detailed info about this machinge?
is this automatic?
thanks

Zack Smith Gina, The wattage for the machine is 1100w. You can use ground coffee or the ESE pods. Along with sleek looks the machine features a back lit push button control board which informs you when the machine is ready to brew or steam. The machine also has a passive cup warmer on the top. Easy to use steam wand which will give you good milk froth. This machine is not an automatic machine it is a semi auto. You will need to grind and tamp. If you would like to discuss this machine further feel free to give me a call at 888-411-5282- Ex 5193
The look of this machine reminds me of a animated movie character. Which appeals to me as it brightened up my day today. It heats pretty fast, the buttons are easy to see and use. Once I opened the box and unpacked my FrancisFrancis! X1 it was easy to set up and use. That three way solenoid...

I’ve had my FrancisFrancis X1 for almost 10 years now. It is well constructed and is a great little machine.
I’ve used it constantly anywhere from daily use to a few times a week. Over time I have perfected the grind and draw to my taste – it is a manual machine so you’ll need to experiment....

Our machine sat in a box for a couple of years, and now no water comes through the brew head. The lights turn on, there's water in the reservoir, the intake tube appears to have water drawn into it, and everything appears to run correctly ... but there's just no water coming out the other end. Any help anyone might have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Michael Rosso ♦ Preston...It sounds like you may have a scale buildup in your brew group. I would first try to run water through your steam wand to see if this helps. If that doesn't work then try running descale (like Urnex Clean Caf) through the machine. If still no results then you will need to contact Francis Francis directly at 1-877-854-4141. Any further questions please feel free to call us at 1-888-411-5282 option 3. Happy brewing soon.

mjackson ♦ People have been happy with the Francis Machine and they are a sister company of Illy. So it is hard to imagine of a better suited machine as it really is Illy doing all the design. I think you will be happy.
