After seveal years of trying Illy, Vivace and Filicori Zecchini as well as other offerings from Lavazza, this is our favorite whole bean for both espresso and cappuccino. We use a Jura Capresso and the espressos are rich with good depth, no bitterness and a very satisfying after taste.

Its Gooooood:) Makes a good cup of espresso/coffee. But It all depends on a persons taste buds and likes and dislikes. I say try them all to find what you like and love.
Lavazza Gran Riserva is vibrant and smooth. Its not as deep flavored as one would expect. Good crema is always a plus too....

This is an excellent bean that makes a very full, rounded cup of espresso. I even use it in my drip coffee maker to make my wife's favorite cup of kick ass coffee.
