Gaggia Platinum Vision with Milk Island
We just un-boxed our new Gaggia Platinum Vision. I am concerned with the steam knob. It feels loose and is quite wobbly. Is this normal?

The listing for this machine doesn't show a 1 year extended warranty. All the other Gaggia's have it - I take it this is just an error and it does have the extended warranty?

Michael Rosso ♦ Andrew...All the New Gaggia machines do have the extended 1 year warranty. Thanks.
What is the difference between the Platinum Vision w/Milk Island vs the Platinum Swing Up? I mainly drink lattes, would one be better than the other? Thanks!

mjackson ♦ There a few differences you can get either machine with a milk island. The display is the main difference. The Vision is equipped with a touch screen that is fun and easy to use. It lets you do everything right on the screen including programming. It also has an active cup warmer that works very well. I like the machine a lot. They will otherwise work the same, and both brew exceptional shots. I would recommend getting the Vision and also get the latte art pannarello wand from Gaggia as it will let you have more control over the milk and act like a one hole steam wand and give you the control you need in order to make latte milk. The normal pannarello wand does a good job of foaming milk but you may have difficulty getting good latte milk.
Hi, is there any way to buy extended warranty for the Gaggia Platinum Vision? I'm just a little concerned about the electronic components.
Thanks,

Michael Rosso ♦ Josie...Thank you for your post to our Super Wall. Currently there are no options to purchase an extended warranty on any of the Gaggia Espresso machines. Thanks
techkathy Janice - is it possible for you to take a photo or send a short video of the knob to support@wholelattelove.com? It can help us determine if there is an issue with the knob or if it is normal.
