There is a way to reduce the height to 16 and 3/4 inches by using this hopper. http://www.wholelattelove.com/Mazzer/mazzer_shorthopper.cfm. You will also need to purchase the lid. http://www.wholelattelove.com/Mazzer/mazzer_hopper_lid.cfm. Then it will fit under most cabinets above your counters.
