Hi, how will compare the Malabar Gold to Pellinis Caffe Top espresso made at home on a Gaggia Evolution. Is it a good idea to buy both?
Thanks,

You will find the Malabar Gold to be extremely smooth and also it will always give you a great amount of crema with very little effort. It is one of my favorite coffees to show what crema is and how easy it is to make. The Pellini is a good coffee and will have more body as well as working a little better in milk based drinks as it will cut through the milk a little better. I do like both coffees and I would try them both and see for yourself what one best suits your tastes.
Zack Smith Keith, You can use the Malabar Gold in your super automatic machine. It produces some great crema. Happy brewing!
Would this blend work in a Gaggia Titanium? How does it compare to Lavazza Super Crema (which I've used for some time)?

mjackson ♦ Jeff,
I think you will enjoy the Malabar Gold. It will work well in a super auto and it is well known for the ease of creating great crema. I think you will find it to be a little smoother then the Lavazza and not as bold. I think you may find it as a good coffee and may indeed really like it.
I am eager to try this coffee but is it suitable for a automatic expresso machine or does it fall under the oily bean category ?

ToddS Yes, the Malabar Gold is actually perfect for the Super Automatic machines. It has only a very light amount of oil on it and it has a great crema. Go ahead and enjoy. Todd S
Michael Rosso ♦ Judy...Thank your for your interest in the Whole Latte Love Malabar Gold. You should get good results using this in your Jura espresso machine. Thanks.
