what are the key differences between in the Latissima line? (680 "premium", 660 (older?), 520 ("plus")
I believe the 680 has a cup warmer and hot water--but any major differences?
thanks

mjackson ♦ Stephen,
Yes there are some differences. The biggest differences withe the 520 is no cup warmer, not as much programming for different drinks, and a smaller milk container. The 680 has a 25 ounce container and the 520 has a 12 ounce container. The 680 is a much heavier machine. The 660 does not have the same type of removable milk container. I hope this helps and let us knwo if you have any more questions. Here is a link to the Delonghi comparison page. http://www.delonghi.com/us_en/family/nespresso/

mjackson ♦ Hassan,
In the US it is only available in a 110 model.
We have had this machine for over three month and I think it is time to descale. The milk only comes out in smallish quantities compared to when we first got it. It takes three or four goes to fill a cup. Am I right in thinking this is due to the need for decalcifying?

mjackson ♦ It may indeed be the need to descale. I am not sure exactly. Nespresso provide all of the technical support for the machines that are made to brew Nespresso capsules. I would try the cleaning and descaling that is recommended for your machine. If that does not help try calling Nespresso at 1-800-562-1465.
Michael Rosso ♦ Jeff...Thank you for your interest in the DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima EN680.M. The noise this machine makes is a bit louder than the noise produced from a fish aquarium pump. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us at 1-888-411-5282 option 1. Happy brewing
I am thinking about buying this machine. I want to know how many Capsules it can hold? Also, do you offer additional warranty? What is the original warranty on this machine?
thanks

Zack Smith Sony, Thank you for your question. The DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima is able to hold 12-15 used capsules. This depends on the size of the capsules, if they are the longs or the shorts. With room for that many used capsules you will be able to go a longer time without emptying the container. The Lattissima has a 1 year warranty through DeLonghi. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact our sales team. Happy brewing!
Michael Rosso ♦ Christine, The Nespresso has a sleek design that allows the water reservoir to be located under the machine. The drip tray will pull out and the dual water reservoir will pull out after. If you have any other questions about this machine give us a call at 888-411-5282 option 1. We can walk you through the whole machine. Happy brewing.
Hi,
Our company wants to buy this kind of machine. We are situated in Bulgaria and my question is related to the type of the plug the machine has. For the different parts of the world they are different. That's why I would like to clarify the issue.
Thank you very much in advance
Regards,
Mariana

ToddS You will want to purchase a machine in Bulgaria. Our machines have a 110 volt plug that only works in the USA.
Tracys ♦ The hardest part of brewing on the Lattissima is deciding which Nespresso capsule blend you prefer. The gently packed capsules’ colorful design will brighten an otherwise hectic morning. Once you’ve made your decision, open the lever located in the center, on top of the coffee spout, insert the capsule, and close the lever. Press the espresso or lungo (small or large cup) button, and the button blinks as the machine brews espresso directly into your cup.To make a regular cup of coffee brew your espresso and then add hot water. If you prefer a cappuccino or latte, make sure the milk system is inserted, and press the cappuccino or latte button. Milk and espresso are then dispensed into your cup. Once this is complete, lift the same lever again to eject the capsule into the internal container, and close the lever again. You’re all done!

A A Helen,
The 680.M can be programmed for different volumes of water/milk for each drink button. You may need to use two capsules of coffee for the best flavor, as they are really designed for 2-8 oz of coffee per capsule. You can set it to extract more water through, but the flavor would get diluted the more water you pull through one capsule.
