Rattleware Small Round Handle Tamper
Would this be a good choice for my Gaggia Baby Class machine, and should I go with the 58mm size ?

mjackson ♦ Stephen,
Any 58 mm tamper will work. I like this tamper at the price as it has a nice feel and is also made out of stainless steel. They all work but this one looks and feels nice.
Which size I should buy for my Gaggia Evolution. Thanks

DRuff Hello Christine. The Silvia uses a 58mm tamper. Feel free to ask any additional questions about your Silvia. That's what we are here for. Enjoy.
For two Starbucks (SAECO) Via Venezia machines, I need a couple of tampers as gifts.
Size? I measure about 53-54mm as the inside diameter of the "double shot" filter / basket. Not sure because the baskets are somewhat tapered, ie slightly smaller at the bottom.
What size should be ordered ?
Thanks
Brian

TechMilanoItalia Yes, the 53mm is the size you want. Even with the tapered bottom it will work as you generally do not tamp that far down into the basket.
Michael Rosso ♦ Stephen...Thank you for your posting to our Super Wall. The Rattleware Small Round Handle Tamper would be a great choice for use with your Gaggia Baby Class, and yes you will need a 58 mm Tamper. Thanks.
