Hmmm... I think I have to start over with this message. Forgive me if this was sent twice!
I think I am gong to order the Gaggia Titanium Espresso machine for my husband for his birthday on February 12th. What espresso beans do you suggest I order? We have never had an espresso machine at home but go to Peet's coffee and Starbucks for lattes.
And...do you know how quickly the machine will come to California?
Hello.
Which of the Lavazza bag is a blend of Arabica(80-90%) and Robusta?
Thank you
Petr
I am looking at purchasing the DeLongi EC270 for my wife for Christmas. I know nothing about making Espresso. Would the Lavazza Sampler Pack make a decent quality espresso with this machine or should I be looking for a different kind of espresso to go with this machine. I was also looking at the Lavazza Espresso Pods. Which one might work better with this machine.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Hi,
I have a Rancilio with the Rocky burr. I mainly drink soy latte and cappuccino and I have been buying the Lavazza Samplers for the last few years. I am ready to try something else, something different and maybe even higher quality (... although Lavazza has been awesome so far). Any suggestion? Any other sampler pack you would recommend?

I have a Ranchlio Siliva and a rocky 3 grinder. Are these beans ok for this machine? Currently I am using a local coffee whick we like, it is a whole medium expresso. How intense are these coffees? Thanks

Are these beans oily? I use the Illy dark roast espresso and medium roast (red Can) successfully in my Bosch, but oily beans choke my machine's grinder.
I realized that the 3 pack sampler of Lavazza are 6.6 lbs of coffee for 2 cups/day ! How long will the unused unopened packages last ?
mjackson ♦ Shannon,
You are choosing a nice machine and what a nice gift. I would get a non oily bean such as Lavazza. That will work best. Unfortunately a Starbucks bean or Peetes is going to be to oily in order for your machine to work best. If you like the stronger flavor try the Super Crema from Lavazza. The oily beans will clog up your grinder and machine. I hope this helps and let us know if you have any more questions.
