Hi -I'm still in love with my DeLonghi after 2 years. But the grinds no longer fall in the dump box alone -- the inside is really messy and there are lots of grinds all over the inside of the machine. What can I do? Thanks, Jennifer

If I turn the knob for coffee volume to the max setting how many ounces of coffee will this machine put into my cup? Thanks.

The maximum amount you can brew will be 12 ounces. This is a good performing machine and certainly should be considered when looking at machines in this price range.
I bought a Magnifica about 3 years ago from Whole Latte Love. I love the machine, BUT the handle on the frother, that you turn counter clockwise to begin the steaming process, has broken off. It is now very difficult to turn on the steam as there is no "leverage". Can I replace it myself? I am sure it is off warranty.
Please advise.

You are right I like the machine as well. We do not carry any parts for that machine and I think it may be something you can do yourself. You will need to call DeLonghi to order the part and they may be able to help give you instructions on how to change it and here is a number for them 1-800-322-3848.
I noticed in the Specs & Performance section that this unit (DeLonghi 3300) is listed as having a Stainless Steel housing. However, I've seen this unit in a couple of local stores and it is always plastic. Is this is a different unit housed in stainless steel? The units I saw were also Magnifica 3300. I currently have a Saeco Vienna Deluxe which finally died : ( I have had the heating element replaced in the past and the unit leaks from the bottom from day one. I like the features the Delonghi Magnifica 3300 has and in your opinion, is it a better machine than the newer Saeco Vienna model.? Also, do have any info on this machines reliability?

mjackson ♦ I agree on the Delonghi having more features. It also has had good positive comments from customers. I think feature wise it is a better machine then the Saeco. I do think the Delonghi will be reliable. If you have been having boiler problems you may want to review how you maintain your machines as it could be a sign of using hard water or scale problems.
Is this the EAM3300 or ESAM3300? Can you tell me the difference between the two?

MikeR This is the ESAM3300. I don't think there is a difference in the models. I think it's more of a situation of different numbers for different markets. One for our type, one for brick and mortar places.

It is a tough question. It could be a few things like a clog or your steam wand is plugged up. The best thing is to call Delonghi technical support and they are very good at - 1-800-322-3848. They will be able to help
Been researching for weeks. Can't decide between Delonghi 3300 or Saeco Odea Giro. Any help? Are there features on one I would miss on the other? Any feedback will be appreciated. thanks, Kim

TechMilanoItalia The DeLonghi does feature the bypass doser so you can use pre-ground coffee (great for when you have guests over that want decaf). The DeLonghi also has a slightly more 'upscale' level of materials and DeLonghi's White Glove Service if you should encounter a problem that necessitates service at a repair center.
Does this machine make a normal cup of coffee if you want? Do you just turn the quantity knob up to the fullest amount, and then adjust the beam strengh to your liking? This question if for the DeLonghi Magnifica 3300

TechMilanoItalia You can either do it that way, or make a Cafe Americano which would entail brewing an espresso shot and then using the hot water dispenser to fill the cup the rest of the way.
My mother poured water into the bean container and now the red light comes on to fill in more beans and there are enough beans in it. What do you recommend.

WholeLatteLoveRep1 Hi Angela, Sorry to hear about the water in your beans container. Unfortunately at this point, it is recommended that you send your machine in for service. Because the grinder chamber contains the motor gears and the bean sensor, you will probably have to have parts replaced. You may want to call and speak with DeLonghi about the problem. They can be reached at (800) 322-3848.

I would give Delonghi a call. They can be reached at 1-800-322-3848. It may be your brew group needs to be lubricated or re- adjusted. They do all the technical support and do a great job. The should be able to tell you what to do next in order to get your machine to work correctly again.
