Michael Rosso ♦ Marc...Here are the basic differences between a Semi and Super Automatic espresso machines. With a Semi Automatic espresso machine you will need to either use preground espresso or grind your own espresso. Then fill and tamp the portafilter before you brew your espresso. With a Semi Automatic espresso machine all you need to do is make sure the bean hopper is full and then push a button to brew espresso. Thanks.
