why the convex shape of the bottom instead of flat? Which is better and why? Thanks so much

mjackson ♦ It seems to me people really like what they have. I do think each side has valid points. I do think both work well. I do know a great grinder is really the key to happiness. Good coffee doesn't hurt either.
