Sanfam ♦ Unfortunately, we don't have much helpful information for the Francis Francis product line. Most of these products are supported directly by Illy USA--If there are any alternative parts available, they would likely know what these are--I would advise visiting their website at http://illyusa.com for more details about how to contact them.

Hello - I am interested in the X1 Francis Francis machine.
But I am definitely interested to be able to use ground espresso not just the pods.
Do the new X1 machines allow for lose ground coffee??? It seems silly to me that this isn't plainly stated.. maybe Illy doesnt want us to know because they are pushing the pods?
Also I found out that the old X1 Trio was sort of the jack of all trades at about $999... is there anywhere to get the old Trio machine now?
Thanks.

Mike Russo ♦ Michael...Thank you for your posting on our Super Wall. The Francis Francis machines only use the Iper Illy Capsules now. You will not be able to use pre-gound espresso or E.S.E pods in these machines. The Trio is no longer in production anymore. Thanks.
