Machine Maintenance

Taking care of your machine doesn’t require a ton of effort, but it makes a world of difference. Regular maintenance will keep your coffee and espresso tasting good, and help your machine last longer. To find out what you’ll need to take care of your machine and how to do it, just scroll down to your category: semi-automatic, super automatic, manual or coffee maker. Urnex Cleancaf Use Cleancaf to descale your machine every 3 - 4 months. You can also use it to clean your filter baskets and shower screen. Descaling instructions can be found in your user manual.
Urnex Cafiza Use Cafiza to backflush your machine and to clean your filter baskets and shower screen.
Claris Water Filters & Durgol If you are using Claris water filters, you will not need to use Durgol to descale. If you aren’t using Claris water filters, descaling will be necessary.

Bosch If you are using the appropriate water filter, you will not need to descale. Simply change the filter when the machine indicates it is time to do so. If you are not using a water filter, you should use the Urnex Cleancaf to descale when the machine says to do so. Use Urnex Super Auto Cleaning Tabs in conjunction with the cleaning cycle on your machine.
