"Pasquini Espresso Machines; For music: Puccini, For art: Bernini, For espresso: Pasquini!…"
The Pasquini family has been proving their passion for espresso since 1956. Pasquini’s line of commercial style espresso machines are known for their ability to captivate the eye and to produce unforgettable espresso. Whether you are looking for that perfect prosumer espresso machine or ultimate coffee grinder, you know that Pasquini's hard work and attention to detail has made their name synonymous with quality.
The Livia 90 automatic espresso machine has the same commercial quality features as the Livia 90 with the added bonus of programmable volume settings. Simple buttons replace manual switches that when pushed will extract the preset amount desired and then stop automatically. It still allows for manual operation if you desire. This refined espresso machine employs sturdy commercial components from Pasquini’s renowned professional line. Automatic water refill and...
For the discriminating home barista, the Pasquini Livia 90 Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine is among the very best. Commercial quality and design are combined to distinguish Pasquini from all other home machines, with automatic water refill and pressure (not temperature) controlled brewing to create unlimited espresso. A powerful commercial pump and steamer make the Livia 90 capable of brewing and steaming at the same time, and a stainless steel exterior...

Ability to brew and steam simultaneously: The Livetta allows you to brew espresso and steam milk simultaneously by using two thermal block boilers (one boiler for brewing and one for steaming) and two pumps. This feature is great when you want to make milk-based drinks fast.
Size of the machine: The Livetta offers commercial quality in one of the most compact home use espresso machines. It measures only 12.5” tall, allowing for plenty of room to place taller cups on the cup warmer.
Portafilter: The heavy duty brass chrome-plated portafilter stays hot and prevents heat loss from your espresso during the brewing cycle.
Rocker Switches: The Livietta uses large heavy duty rocker switches to control brewing and steaming. Rocker switches typically last a very long time.
Construction: The construction of the Livietta, from the stainless steel housing, down to the metal welded base is of a good quality. In addition this machine looks magnificent in kitchens with stainless steel appliances.
Things I Would Change:
Drip Tray: The drip tray is a little shallow in depth for a machine that uses 2 three-way solenoid valves
Reservoir: The reservoir holds only 57 ounces of water that may require filling more often if you are steaming a lot (like when entertaining).
Who I Would Recommend This For:
Because of the double boiler you can brew and steam at the same time which makes this machine great for people that want their milk-based drinks fast. This machine is also great for light entertaining for 4-6 guests. Overall, it's a very good machine both in quality of build and performance.
I just finished filming the product demonstration video for the Pasquini Livietta. The Livietta offers commercial quality in one of the most compact home use espresso machines. Another unique feature of the Livietta is the ability to brew espresso and steam milk simultaneously. This is accomplished through the technology of having two thermal block boilers (one for brewing and one for steaming), each with its own pump and three way solenoid.
In this video we take a look and explain the reasons to backflush. We will examine why to backflush, what it will do for your coffee and equipment and also why it is important. There will be a demonstration on backflushing as well as products we would recommend using. This is something you should do often to your professional or prosumer machine. It will help your machine stay clean as well as make sure your coffee tastes great.
If you are fortunate enough to own a Pasquini Livia 90 Automatic espresso machine, I'll show you how easy it is to program its buttons. Learning about this important feature will help keep your cup sizes consistent. Enjoy!
And if you have any other requests for videos about the Pasquini line of machines, or any other machine, let me know.
If you are looking for a grinder that will give you a great grind every time then look no further than the Pasquini K2. Not only does it product a great grind, it is easy to clean and simple to use. With the K2 you will no longer need to worry about the grounds clumping into your portafilter. Check out my video and tell me what you think.

My job allows me to play around with some pretty cool stuff, but today I had the opportunity to test out something awesome. If you haven’t already heard of the ROK espresso maker, let me tell you a little bit about it. It's a manual espresso machine from Presso, Ltd. and it’s making waves at the London Coffee Festival. Needless to say, I was stoked. So, I grabbed some coffee, our hot water kettle, and a few volunteers, and we went to town.
There’s really a lot to like about this machine, but one of the first things that struck...

It's always exciting when we get new products, but it’s even more exciting when I can use them for recipes! So, I was obviously delighted when I discovered that we had not one, but three new varieties of Monin syrups that we would be adding to our repertoire of flavors: Cinnamon Bun, Banana Nut Bread, and Cupcake. And of course, there’s really no better way to showcase one of these new flavors than by putting it in a drink! I give you the Cinnamon Bun Latte.

Double Shot Espresso
