Voted the Best New Coffee Preparation Equipment at the 2005 SCAA Conference & Exhibition in Seattle, the Piazza brewing system was invented by brothers Pietro and Vincent Piazza. As both brothers hold engineering degrees, the pair used their expertise to create a brewing system based on the thermodynamic diesel cycle that brews and compresses coffee in one chamber. The result is the Piazza Espresso Maker, which not only brews a rich, full-bodied espresso, but can also be used to brew unbelievably flavorful tea.
