I just ordered the Gaggia Accademia Espresso Machine today and could not be more excited. After a year of drooling over it, I finally convinced myself to just get it! I want to make a great first shot...any suggestion/tips? I know not to use overly oily beans, but do you have a specific brand/roast that is a great starting point? Also, just wanted to give customer service a "great job" award for the day. I made an error while putting in my credit card information and when I re-entered it I forgot to re-enter my coupon code. One call to customer service and the coupon was applied! No hassle! How fantastic!

mjackson ♦ The nice thing is your machine works well with a wide variety of coffees, My favorites in the super auto are the Lavazza and Filicori and you may want to try the sampler packs of each to see what you enjoy most. I also like our house blend a lot the Monaco. Make sure you dial in the temperature, the grind and the volume of coffee brewed for your best shot. It can brew a great espresso. Thanks also fro the kind words on our customer service department as they are truly a dedicated group of individuals.
