I have a Saeco V'spresso machine that just had the message "brew unit blocked". I went online and saw your video but that did not help. My brew unit seemed to be ok. When I put it back together, the unit powered on and showed selftest on the screen. I tried to then make a shot of espresso, but it sounded like the gears were trying to move but couldn't. The message "brew unit blocked" came back again, so I took it apart, looked into the brew unit and it had grounds in it. Would the brew unit motor be what turns the gear in the machine itself? If so, based on your experience, could that be what's wrong with the machine?
Thank You,
Tony

techkathy The small motor does turn the gear which operates the brew unit. It could be the small motor. It could also be the control board. If the board is not supplying enough power to the motor it will not turn properly.
