i have been using the Gaggia Unica espresso for about 10 months, with 8 to 12 shots per day , for the family ( 12 on weekends). It has worked great. Lately noticed in the past few months, the spent coffee - is not a solid puck, but more squishy mixed with water. Called support, they mentioned get some dry coffee seeds, run them thru to get the oil out ( oil seems to be the main culprit.). Is this the only way out to clean this ?
