Love these pumps! Less mess!

This question has probably been asked a billion times, but is there a warning that comes on when the bean hopper is low? Does it hinder the machine to just fill up the beans every couple of days? Also, is it a bad idea to "prep" my machine the night before for the next day? For example, empty the coffee pucks, fill beans, fill water, and empty drip trays each night regardless of the actual "need" for it?
We have been using this machine for a couple of weeks now and we are in LOVE! After my husbands first latte he said "this is the best cup of coffee I have had in years!"

I just ordered the Gaggia Accademia Espresso Machine today and could not be more excited. After a year of drooling over it, I finally convinced myself to just get it! I want to make a great first shot...any suggestion/tips? I know not to use overly oily beans, but do you have a specific brand/roast that is a great starting point? Also, just wanted to give customer service a "great job" award for the day. I made an error while putting in my credit card information and when I re-entered it I forgot to re-enter my coupon code. One call to customer service and the coupon was applied! No hassle! How fantastic!
