Gaggia Brera Espresso Machine in Silver

I just love this little machine. I have had it for about 6 weeks now, and have had NO problems with it. First thing in the morning i have is a long coffee . Sooo good. I make about 3-4 long coffees, and 2 cappuccinos a day. In between i also make espressos . Still trying different coffees.

A A The measurement for the height of the Legend Mug is 6.75". That would be too tall to fit under the Brera spouts.

Mavea Intenza Water Filter for Gaggia and Saeco
Mavea Intenza Water Filter for Gaggia and Saeco

Hi: I am waiting for my new Gaggia Brera to arrive, my very first espresso machine, yeah. I'd like to know if I need a filter or if the filtered water out of the refrigerator is sufficient? Looking forward to your answer!

A A Maria,
The filtration is essentially the same, so you should be ready to do with the water from your refrigerator. However, if you get a funky smell/taste from that water (as many refrigerators do), then the Intenza filter would filter your tap water very well and give you a great shot!
