Two months with my Gaggia New Baby. I really love the quality espresso I can get on a daily basis now.

Rattleware Large Round Handle Tamper
I just purchased a new Gaggia New Baby. As I read it comes with a cheap plastic tamper. I purchased this with it to replace it. It really makes it easy to get the 30 lbs of pressure to pull a great shot. I recommend this one as it is made of stainless steel with excellent weight.

Michael Rosso ♦ John Rattleware makes great products, and you are correct the extra weight you get with this tamper does make tamping easier. The solid stainless base will also seal properly around the edges of the portafilter to prevent water channeling when brewing.

John Seymour You are correct. I looked at the tamper that came with the New Baby - not only is it uncomfortable and made of plastic, it is also a few millimeters smaller and does not fit the 58mm portafilter as well.

Gaggia MDF Coffee Grinder
I purchased this grinder along with my new Gaggia New Baby. I read some reviews and that along with the price led me to buy it. I have not been disappointed. This grinder has been great and gives me a very good grind as I learn to make espresso. Got it on sale too.

Gaggia New Baby Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine
I have been pretty much a regular coffee drinker for years (from french press to drip to keurig). Of course I have had the occasional latte or cappuccino from a coffee house.
After some extensive research time, and a look at my wallet, I zoned in on the Gaggia New Baby. I have to say after one...
