My Gaggia Baby manual says to "only use Gaggia descaler" on my unit. Well, I already bought Durgol Special Decalcifier. Is there really any difference? The package of Durgol says "for espresso, pad or capsule machines of all brands and models."

I have been having the Gaggia Baby Class for only 2 months, and the portafilter has recently started to leak after brewing a shot (until i power it off). Am i doing something wrong. I tried cleaning the gasket, but got same results. I did not see any wear on the gasket.

techkathy Have you taken apart the group head and cleaned it? Have you descaled the machine? If the machine is leaking from the group head even after brewing it may just need a good cleaning. Click on the links below to see a video on both cleaning procedures.

In what ways is the stainless wand better than the black plastic one?

techkathy Both wands have the same basic design. I have found that it is much easier to clean the stainless steel pannarello wand.
Monday - Thursday: 9am-8pm

Yes they are all meant to work and do. It is great you are keeping up on the maintenance. All of the descaling products are somewhat similar and will keep your machine working longer.
