I have a DeLonghi magnifica,TYPE ESAM-4400, it started grinding the coffee beans, but they did not go down, they would stay where the ground coffee,& stay there I think it has something to do with maybe a water leak, I was wondering if you would be willing to trade it & the Vienna Plus toward the Gaggia Brera in any color? The one W/ code LUCKY SEVEN. Or maybe give me some kind of price on what it would cost to fix my DeLonghi???

A A I am sorry to hear about your machine acting up! If you are interested in getting it fixed, you would have to contact Delonghi at 1-800-322-3848. While we do not accept trade in's, the Brera is currently at a FANTASTIC price for a machine of it's caliber.

Sanfam ♦ Depending on the type of machine and your preferences, your bean selection would vary. Typically speaking, a semi-automatic espresso machine and standalone grinder have no hard limits due to the two being independently adjustable. If you're using a super automatic espresso machine, you will typically want to exclude the oily beans as these could clog up the grinder, its dosing mechanism, the brew unit or brewing chamber, or other parts that may not necessarily be user-serviceable.

A A Wanda,

"Espresso Beans" is actually just a marketing ploy designed to play on peoples assumption that Espresso is very strong coffee. Espresso is actually the process, not the beans. You can use what ever beans you like the flavor of - though we advise that you stay away from oily beans (Starbucks, Peets, Kirklands) and any flavored coffee beans.
