The Gaggia Classic is my first machine and I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed.

Money is a little tight these days so before I pony up and buy the Breville BKC700XL I want to buy a French Press. I beleive an 8 cup model would be best for me. Which model would you recommend? Durability and tight seal around the screen are my major concerns. All suggestions are welcome and appreciated.

My wife and I are big coffee drinkers and we are looking for a single brew coffe machine and are looking at the Breville BKC700XL. It appears to be top rated and has all the bells and whistles. But I am wondering about the durability of these small machines! Are they worth the price or should wwe stick with the traditional large style coffee brewers? Any and all feedback would be appreciated.
