For years frequenting this site I wondered what sort of insane persons would spend almost 4 grand for a coffee maker. Now here we are. Prior I had a little
Delonghi(sic) machine and though it worked qell, it waslabo0r intensive to crank out my batch of capachinos fo my wife every morning, The Z6 is the most amazing machince I have ever used or seen. Amazing, fast, wonderfull. I lo9ve it, my ... read more

After years of trying to find the perfect cup of coffee, I finally did. About five years ago I first tried a cup of coffee at a Williams-Sonoma store from the Z5 Impressa, and boy was I impressed. I never forgot how smooth that coffee was, and how rich the flavor was.
My husband swore to me that I would never get a coffeemaker that cost that amount of money, but I did!! He made fun of me f ... read more

I spent several weeks looking at various automatic espresso machines before deciding to purchase the DeLonghi 6600. At $2500, it is one of the most expensive machines available which caused considerable concern among our family. After using it for several days, however, everyone was sold (even the kids). The espresso is some of the best I have tasted and the cappuccinos and lattes are also outs ... read more

I've had this machine for 3 years now and the coffee I am drinking now is just as good as the first one I got 3 years ago. My machine gets daily use from my family and used quite extensively over most weekends with family and friends. This machine is very consistent from one brew to the next. Flavor, temperature, creme, grind and time to pour are all as consistent as only a machine can do. I under ... read more

I've owned this unit for nearly 5 years. It is consistent, reliable, and I've had zero problems with it. While the quality of espresso produced is good, it's not potentially as good as a hand-drawn shot from a non-automatic machine. However, it is far more convenient and more consistent. Less mess and hassle for sure, so there are trade offs and I prefer the convenience of a super-auto. ... read more

I picked this coffee maker for my new house as a way to "step up" for myself, and I have been very enthusiastic and pleased with its performance. I LOVE lattes, and this machine is perfect for me as it makes one for me every morning before I go out the door. My husband enjoys making a double extra long coffee on the mild or standard setting for his morning cup, and it takes roughly the same amou ... read more

After 11 years with the Saeco, I figured it was time for a change. I monitored forums for quite some time and looked at a lot of reviews and comparisons before pulling the trigger on the C9. Wow, what a wonderful machine! Cleaning is done almost automatically by just dropping in a tablet and letting it do its thing. Don't have to take anything apart. Programming is easy and repeatable. It ma ... read more

My wife and I purchased the Royal Coffe Bar as a 25 year annyversary gift to each other. We spent an hour going through the "instruction/user" manual. Our problem turned out to be by default the programing of the unit was set for auto plumb, so even though we put water in the resevoir the machine said empty water. Well, finaly figured out that you can turn that off in the programming. It makes ... read more

I bought this machine just before Christmas 2008 from a Starbucks outlet. I like the odd latte but my passion in coffee is for a genuine Americano with good crema. When I made my first cup of Americano it was luke warm even though I had pre-heated the cup. I tried several times without luck. I decided to check the temperature of the water coming out and found the cause. It was making coffee at 75C ... read more

I love this machine. Now I cannot live without it. I just cannot imagine my day, my life without it. It is so easy to make espresso, cappuccino, or latte. I cannot describe how good this machine is. I just press the picture of the kind of coffee I want. Crema is so great. It is the same like in cafe shops in Europe. I am from Europe and I really missed good cappuccino. In Europe we spend hours and ... read more

I had a Capresso C1500 for about 6 years. It started leaking and making weak coffee. So, I got the J5 as an upgrade/replacement. I have now own the J5 for about 2 months. It is definitely an improvement over the C1500.
Pros
- It makes really hot beverages
- Two types of frothing method: 1. Traditional way; 2. FrothXpress way
- Programmable everything (e.g. water temp, strength of coffee, ... read more

The B30 has many nice features for the money. And for me, what was most important was a good cup of crema coffee as I don't do a lot of espresso. I bought mine without too much research and therefore did not know of Wholelattelove at the time. For that reason, I was left to the customer service people at Bosch who were worse than bad...hands down the worst customer service people I have ever de ... read more

Great machine that is very easy to use. Takes about 5 minutes to warm up and rinse in the AM and it's ready to go. I find the coffee is strong enough if you read the tips from WLL and the temperature is plenty hot. Very easy to clean, very easy to make a cup from preground coffee (for that occasional decaf at night). ... read more

I've had the machine for 3 months now and I used this site when I was considering buying it so I thought I'd let others know of my opinion.
The Good: The Talea is easy to use and makes pretty good espresso - Better than my previous seaco machines and better than my father's Delongi. It's easy to clean and after 3 months averaging 4 espresso's a day is working as it should.
The Bad: The wate ... read more

This was absolutely one of the best "toys" I have ever purchased. I love espresso drinks and use this machine daily (often multiple times a day) and from the beginning was incredibly easy to use and makes great coffee/espresso! I have NO experience as a barista or otherwise and it took me less than a week to have a "perfect latte". ... read more
