I must admit I came to see whether anyone has suggestions for a metal (non-plastic) thermal carafe that fits under the filter basket and on the hot plate of a Proline, but figured I'd write a review in the mean time. My wife loves the coffee that the Proline makes, but the on/off toggle switch failed on the first machine we got in the first few months- Kitchenaid graciously replaced with a new mac ... read more

Coffee will NOT stay hot any more. No water filtering system. Coffee pots can NOT be put in dish machine - melts handle. Hard to see water level - numbers "fade". To be so expensive - should be a much better coffee pot. ... read more

The best coffee maker, period. Every time my husband has a cup of coffee he says "This is the best coffee". I can't believe the difference this coffee maker makes, we don't even go to Starbucks or Flat Black anymore. ... read more

Once I started roasting my own beans, the standard drip pot was no longer sufficient. The Technivorm is absurdly pricey at one level, but since I used it every day, it's quickly paying off.
The main experience is like getting a new pair of speakers or headphones: it sounded fine before, but NOW you can REALLY HEAR the range! Same with drip coffee: only the Technivorm releases the full range of ... read more

I pot and I returned it. Horrible. NOT HOT! The carafe does not pour easily and has to be fully inverted - then it drips - which isn't so bad because its NOT HOT! ... read more

This machine is loved by coffee geeks because it's one of the few that brew at the proper temp of approx 200 degrees. Some have complained that the coffee isn't hot enough, which I only find is true if one adds lots of cold milk.
I even stopped pre-heating my carafe when a scientist friend explained that there's very little heat transfer to this kind of metal carafe. Testing pre-heating & not ... read more

I like my Keurig coffee maker.I agree with another review it does get expensive using the K-Kups.I like the variety of flavors they have.I decided to buy the filter and use my own coffee. Will still use them on occasions. Also wish the coffee would be a little hotter. It says its 192 degrees but I question that. ... read more

So, right out of the box this system had problems. The first one I received came with a defective burr grinder and I had to ship it back to Krups customer service for repair. After 6 (yes, six) weeks I received my coffee maker.
So, now for the review...it makes EXCELLENT coffee. Temperature is fantastic, taste is incredible and it is simple and easy to use. However, the problem (again) is the g ... read more

I really like all the features this coffee pot offers however, IT CLOGS UP after every two pots of coffee and that is really a pain. You take the top off, (be careful or the beans in the holder will go everywhere)open the lid and us the little brush to scrape the clogged area. I use my small vaccum to really clean it out. I have never had to worry about this with any other coffee pot. It uses a ... read more

This is one of the only machines I have ever used that I can truly taste the nuance of the coffee (even improved by my kitchen aid grinder). The fast brew and thermal carafe are the perfect combination for really tasting your coffee. Stop using slow drip coffee makers today and enter the world of Bunn, you will never go back. ... read more

Being from LA, we love our coffee fresh and stout. This machine does both, and does it quickly. Friends recommended it to me a year ago. My only regret was not getting it sooner. I love my morning coffee! What a treat. C'est bon, chere! ... read more

Ok this machine is both good and bad. If you do not properly clean it it accumulates moisture (epically when using its grinder) and will clog and overflow. Also if you make several of pots back to back be weary, you will need to give it some time to dry.
All and all im not unhappy with it, I had to clean up my counter once and I learned my lesson. It is not a commercial machine, treat it ri ... read more
