I bought this with the Expobar Office for my wife almost three years ago for Xmas. Together we make 8-12 shots per day, so there really isn't any issue with grounds hanging out in the doser.

It's easy: just put lots of beans in the top, run the thing until the grounds bin is half-full, stop it and dose out some grounds.
Once you get the grind setting right (I like about 10 or so, play around with it but skip the 20 and the 5 settings for espresso). And by the way, please take the time to correct anyone you know who says "expresso", it's not being snobbish, it's just up to each of us ... read more

I have had this MACAP Stepped doserless grinder for almost 2 years and it performs consistently. It is solid and has a nice step ring that allows you to gently adjust the grind depending on the coffee.
