Listen, you can't complain too much when an electric grinder costs $20. It gets the job done, and is a great purchase if your budget is highly restrictive. But the inability to change grind sizes is a big drawback, and the blades give the coffee a slightly burnt flavor that conical burrs won't. I recommend this item for newbies on-the-go, but only if you're cool with "getting what you pay for." ... read more

Have used this grinder daily for 6 years. No mechanical problems, a very durable unit.
Will not grind to espresso fineness easily, but, will grind your drip coffee effortlessly, and
with practice ( you need to keep time yourself) will grind consistently.
I would buy this grinder again...... but am not needing another utility grinder because this

I've had this machine for about 10 years. First impression and lasting, for obvious reqasons, is it sounds like an "angry" siren from a fire truck. Very ugly in the morning! I bought this to use as a grinder for my drip machine as I have a super auto with a grinder built in for my espresso needs. I am a bit disappointed in the adjustment of the grind. Basically I can get really coarse, or (set to finest) a mix of static powder stuck to the plastic container along with grounds similar to store bought ground.
