I have had this grinder for over a year. As other reviewers have commented, it does not do well for coarse ground coffee. It won't even go all the way to the most coarse setting. IMO it works best for espresso.
If the bean is roasted to FC, right before second crack or no more than 5 seconds into second crack, the grinder works pretty well. Most of the grind gets into the portafilter. However, ... read more

Our Rocky Doserless keeps on delivering a fine product. To maintain maximum bean freshness we fill the hopper just enough for the current shots (in addition to that which you cannot see in the grinder itself).
