My Gaggia semi-automatic espresso machine has a very "violent" start. The first second of the brew process produces a strong vibration and noise - then it eases off and brews as expected. Is this normal?

Whole Latte Love Staff The Capresso F9 has a chrome alloy front panel, but the sides and back are constructed of plastic.
My Jura Espresso machine says to replace the filter. My husband thinks that the filter is called Claris. However I cannot find it in the parts section. Can you please tell me how to get this water filter?

You are looking for the Claris water filter. They can be located under cleaning products on our site.
Is there an accessory wand that fits the Capresso C1500 so you can either have
the machine do the steaming/frother or you can have control yourself? Thanks so much.

The only way to froth with the C1500 is to use its auto frother. It is not like the Jura/Capresso S9 that has both a steam wand and an auto frother.
Whole Latte Love Staff This is normal. The vibration pump in and of itself is a noisy component. What is happening is that the pump is dry when we first engage it. Then once water is fed into the pump, it quiets down. This noise is typical with this style pump and shouldnt be cause for concern.
