It is a flat burr grinder. It does work well for many types of coffee, but may struggle with espresso for a commercial style portafilter and machine.

Zack Smith Jeremy, Unfortunately we do not have replacement burrs for cuisinart. If you need new burrs for that machine you will need to contact them directly at 800-726-0190
