Went to Venice, Italy --ruined for life :) since they brewed the best espresso/cappuccinos i have EVER had! So....can you recommend an espresso/cappcno machine for my home for 2-3 esp/caps a day, VERY reliable, and under $200ish ? Frothing is very important as well as a "rich tasting" espresso. Grazie!
I thought I saw on here that it was recommended to get a 53mm tamper for this machine. I just received my RW aluminum in the mail today and it's just a tad bit too big for the basket on this machine and does not seem like it will get a good tamp. I read today on another blog that it should be a 49mm one. Thoughts on this?
I love coffee and was converted to a french press about a year ago. Then as I started traveling more for work out of the country, fell in love with espresso and other drinks! This machine was given to me as a Christmas gift and think it does a pretty good job at making espresso. I am still...

I've had two DeLonghi EC270 machines for a couple years now and I was convinced I found the one machine I HAVE to take to my grave. However recently I was steaming some milk and the thermostat blew...is there a trick to replacing them? I'm starting to have withdrawal symptoms!

Hi, I am debating between the delonghi EC155 and EC270, but I am interested in what type of material the steam wand is made of. It seems like most wands are made out of plastic, how durable is this? Any answer would help thanks.
hi, i have been debating what machine to buy for a while now, and my price range has narrowed it down to the delonghi EC155, delonghi EC270, and the cuisinart EM-100. can you shed some light on the major differences, especially between the two delonghis and which of the three you would recommend most? also, what size pitcher and tamper is best for each machine? i plan on buying a pitcher and tamper regardless and want to be sure i get the right size for the machine. thanks, ethan
I'm looking for a small espresso machine with a good steaming wand for under $200. I purchased the Delonghi BCO120T Combination Machine and was pretty disappointed with its milk frother. I don't need the drip coffee feature to be included, either. Any advice?
I have been looking for Espresso Machines for a while now, and I'm down to the DeLonghi EC270, DeLonghi EC155, and the DeLonghi BAR32. I know one is about $50 cheaper, but if they were all the same price, which one is better quality. I've looked at different things about all of them, but I would like some insight from someone who really knows what they are talking about before I purchase one. I want to make sure it is easy to use, make a good espresso shot, and has a good steamer/frother for milk in order to make good mochas and capuccinos. If you could assist me in making this decision, I would be very appreciative. I hope to hear back from someone soon.
Thank you for your help in advance,
Hi - I want to buy a low profile espresso maker that would serve 1 to 2 servings or 3 to 4 occasionally. Can you recommend one that is reasonably priced and does a good job and not to large.
