DanielCulver Sonny, That's what I mean. Imagine you could afford any bean you want, just to try it, and if you don't like it, you could just chuck it and move on. And, further you could have several types of machine on hand to find the best way to drink each bean. I love my Gaggia Achille but there are times I would like a top of the line pro-sumer machine or even a full automatic like the Jura-Capresso Impressa. Sometimes a machine that is better at pre-infusion than my machine would be nice. Other times the unique profile a manual machine gives is just perfect. There is so much variety of bean and machine, and nobody is better at making your cup of espresso than yourself. I go to nice shops all over and nothing beats the best I can do at home. When you are a kid you wished you could have your own McDonalds, now I just want a blank check at Whole Latte Love!

Blondie Nice job JOE BEAN!
A A Despite the fact that I live around the corner from Joe Bean, and that it is next to Rochester's Rock Climbing Gym, I have yet to stop in here. As if I needed another reason to find a new place to enjoy my coffee!
In 1989 an AP reporter claimed: “…Seattlites drink more espresso than water.” 23 years later Seattle Times news librarian Gene Balk decided to check out the claim and found: Seattleites actually do prefer espresso to bottled water. Out of the 96 metropolitan areas that Gene studied, from New York to Los Angeles, from Toledo to Tucson, there is only one place in the United States where more people drink espresso than bottled water. Seattle, of course!
