Description

The Expobar Brewtus IV is a dual boiler prosumer espresso machine equipped with a vibration pump. Two copper boilers let this Expobar dedicate one exclusively to brewing and the other to steaming, frothing and dispensing hot water. New to the fourth generation of the Brewtus line is a dedicated switch that will allow you to turn off the steam boiler and operate with just the brew boiler. Doing so will result in quicker warm-up time as well as yield lower operating costs in the long run. The Brew

Excellent machine. Upgraded after 8 good years with Rancilio Sylvia. Instantly improved the consistent quality of my shots with Brewtus. Nice to have no downtime between brewing and steaming milk....best part of a double boiler machine. Another seldom talked about point...much easier to clean...

I had previously owned 3 different super automatics but I wanted more precise control of the process and the end product. This was a perfect choice, and the whole idea of "prosumer" really makes sense. Plus, I was ready to learn more about espresso. With this machine I have the ability to...

I love my Brewtus IV.

Its Just about perfect. I started off with a Syliva, and loved her for 10 long years and though i took good care of her, it was time to move on. After doing a bunch of research which included reading a ton of reviews i decided on the Expobar lever.

This is my first prosumer expresso machine. Hesitated to jump in at this level since my only experience is a Krups little expresso bought 20yrs ago on a student budget! May I say it is everything I expected and more..What a great machine to learn and grow from amature to skilled barista. I like...

How long does it take for the Expobar Brewtus IV to heat up and ready to make espresso. I am also lookng at the Rocket machine aswell and was wondering if they all take about the same amount of time to heat up.

mjackson ♦ Darin,
Good choices on machines. They both will take about 15 -20 minutes to warm up properly. I do think value wise the Brewtus is a great value and both have good reviews. Generally people say the Rocket is a better looking machine, it also has the rotary pump and can be plumbed or not. I still like the Expobar a lot as we designed that machine. Call if you want some more help.

Hello, what is the wattage of this machine? 1250W or 2500W? should I add both boilers??
Thank you,
JM,

mjackson ♦ Juan,
1250 Watts and will work on a normal 110 Volt 15 amp circuit just fine.
