I find these a little smaller than other pods. They seal the bottom of the filter and then no coffee comes out.

The flavor is slightly fruity w/ a finish note of chocolate. It is smooth which means it doesn't overpower your taste buds, but it is strong enough to taste the coffee in a mixed drink. The crema is consistently thick.
For comparison, Fillicori, Lavazza and Illy. I like the Filicori better than...

Coffee is very subjective. I've read many reviews on different coffee brands to try to get a real sense of the quality and flavor of coffee. Most of the coffee reveiws say something like "It is our favorite" or "the best I've had", but that doesn't really help when you are looking for a specific...

Well as I am sipping the Gran Crema Delicato (GCD), I am writing this=). I finally upgraded from the dep`t store espresso machines to a Rancilio V3 and Baratza grinder. My first beans from here were the Cafe D`arte beans and they were quite good. The Filicori was my second sampler purchase.

mjackson ♦ Rishi,
I cant think of a better way to say you like the coffee. Trying many coffees is really when it gets interesting and you will always find a few that are your favorites. I am so glad you are enjoying your machine and coffee.
My wife and I have tried several different beans, this has to be one of out favorites. As my wife says she looks forward to the mornings now so she can have her latte.

A A Filicori Zecchini is a staff favorite here, and you can see why. I'm glad you like it!
I now have an assortment of single shot glasses that are all different sizes. What is the standard shot glass size for espresso?

A A Donna,
There are generally 2 sizes of Espresso "shots". A single shot is about 1 fluid oz, and a double shot is about 2.5 fluid oz. The Filicori Zecchini shot glass you linked is a 1 oz glass.
Excellent aroma, flavor and creme. I consider myself a big coffee bean snob, I appear to be wearing off on to my wife, she really enjoyed this bean as well. We have tried a couple few local roasted beans and so far she prefers this brand over them.
Would highly recommend.

mjackson ♦ They are a great coffee and since we started selling them we have developed a lot of repeat customers. They are a non oily bean and I really like the Grand Crema Delicato.

mjackson ♦ John,
Thanks for the review and the spot on assessment.
