Shower screens can take a beating after years of use. If neglected, they become clogged and can severely affect your coffee’s taste. Replacing your Gaggia shower screen is often an easy fix to common problems. Please Note: This item is for use in semi automatics only. If you need a filter screen for a Gaggia super automatic, please call us at 888-411-5282.

mjackson ♦ Juan,
Give us a call we have the Pasquini screen in stock for 14.38. We can get one out to you if you call and order it.
mjackson ♦ Melvin,
It does fit and you may also want to change the gasket and clean the grouphead while you have it apart. If you have any questions we have emails that can help.
Does this come with the screw to attach the screen? If not, could you please help me find it? It's so small... no telling where I put it.

Michael Rosso ♦ Thomas...The screw for shower screen does not come with the shower screen. Please call our Technical Support Department directly at 1-888-411-5282 option 3 to help you order the correct parts. Thanks.
I've adopted a new (to me) Gaggia Coffee espresso machine. After cleaning the brew group, shower screen and descaling the machine, I am wondering about the way the water is flowing. Without the shower screen on, water is flowing nicely through the four holes, but when I put the screen back on water isn't coming out in a bunch of individual steams. Instead water is flowing in through the screen in about four steams. Is this normal, why doesn't it flow in many streams across the shower head?

Zack Smith Kyle, You may need to replace the shower screen. Both the shower screen and the group gasket should be replaced every so often. Give our tech department a call and they can get the correct shower screen for you.
I want to replace the shower screen but the screw holding the screen is stripped. Any ideas on how to replace the screw?

Michael Rosso ♦ Stavros...I would suggest you try using a stubby handle screwdriver which will give you more leverage. Or you can try using a torx type screwdriver. Thanks
I would like to change the shower screen and gasket. I have the parts. There is a screw in the center of the shower basket, which I have taken out, but the shower screen does not come out. Am I supposed to loosen something else?
thanks, Betsy

mjackson ♦ You may want to try and wedge it out with a very thin screwdriver. You can actually read an article here to help you.
http://www.wholelattelove.com/articles/brew_group_gasket.cfm. This should help. You should also remove the plate above the screen while you have it apart and clean that as well. See the link as it explains all of this in detail.
I have a Gaggia Synchrony Compact and have used it daily for about 5 years.
Along the way the nut that holds the shower screen broke off. I'd like to replace the screen but the old nut may have to be drilled out. Should I send that to you? Then replace the screen?

ToddS Hi Richard, the screen does not come with the screw but we do have them. Please give us a call and we can set you up with it.
I cleaned the screen on my 10 year old Gaggia Espresso and used a needle to clear the scale from the holes (I know, pretty stupid!). It seems to be working fine; should I replace the screen?
