What is the difference between the J9 and the Z7?

Michael Rosso ♦ David...Thanks for your interest in the Jura Espresso machines. The Z7 has two Thermoblock boilers while the J9 has one. The water reservoir on the Z7 holds 96oz. of water and the J9 holds 71oz. of water. The Z7 uses push buttons and the J9 has a rotary selector with interactive display. The Z7 is a bit taller and wider. Thanks.

Great question. There is a programming menu you can go int to change the temperature. You can increase the temperature of the coffee in the cup by increasing the temperature setting in the machine. This is explained in chapter 4 of your manual. It is easy to do and should make a difference. I hope this helps and let us know if you have any other questions.
