The Jura-Capresso Ultima is the easiest espresso machine to use under $300. It eliminates all of the inconvenient steps of tamping, timing, brewing and cleaning. Just put the desired amount of coffee into the doser, turn and pull the coffee lever down and switch on the pump. Within seconds enjoy an espresso with a delicious golden crema. Ready to make another espresso? Just pull up and turn the lever to prepare the next espresso. Used coffee is automatically discarded into an internal container.

TechMilanoItalia You could return the machine, but you would have to pay to ship it back and would be credited back minus the original shipping we paid to ship it out to you (in lieu of a restocking fee). To make a cappuccino, you would brew your espresso and then froth the milk with the steam arm. A traditional cappuccino is 2oz. of espresso, 2oz. of steamed milk, and 2oz. of frothed milk.

I am on your site looking at the Capresso Ultima. I love espresso and my wife regular coffee, could this machine do both?

Whole Latte Love Staff Although the Ultima cant make a "true" cup of drip coffee, it can make 2 things that are very similar: cafe americano and cafe crema. Cafe americano is simply a double shot of espresso with 6 to 8 oz of added hot water, and actually tastes very similar to drip. The second is the cafe crema, which produces a much richer and more full-bodied flavor by pressure brewing 6 to 8 oz of water through coarser grounds than you would normally use for espresso. Both of these alternatives are so good, in fact, that once people try them, they usually drop the drip forever. What is the most efficient and inexpensive grinder to purchase with this machine?

Whole Latte Love Staff For use with the Capresso Ultima, I would recommend either the Capresso Infinity or the Solis Maestro. Either of these machines will easily be able to grind fine enough to brew espresso with the Ultima. You can learn more about these machines - and even compare them side-by-side - by following the links below.
Whole Latte Love Staff You can purchase any replacement parts for the Ultima directly through Capresso. They can be reached at 800-767-3554.
Whole Latte Love Staff The user manual for the Ultima can be downloaded by clicking on the link below. If you would like a hard-copy, please contact Capresso directly at 800-767-3554.
Whole Latte Love Staff Like all espresso machines, the brew pressure on the Brewtus is set to brew at between 8 and 9 BAR.
My Jura Espresso machine says to replace the filter. My husband thinks that the filter is called Claris. However I cannot find it in the parts section. Can you please tell me how to get this water filter?

You are looking for the Claris water filter. They can be located under cleaning products on our site.
ToddS The Ultima only works with ground coffee, not beans. You can use just about any ground coffee that you want but it works best with an espresso blend and with a coffee ground pretty fine for espresso.
