Does this machine have a built in tamper? It is difficult to tell form the picture. Also, can it brew both single shot and double shot expressos? Thank you! Mike.

It does not have a built in tamper. It can brew espresso but it is not really set up to do a single shot. But it will brew an espresso. It is a little different than most of our machines.

What size frothing pitchur do I need? Used it for first time last night without pitchur ( used ceramic mug instead) and froth was not hot. Thanks for your help! Mary

WholeLatteLoveS S We like to use a 20oz pitcher. http://www.wholelattelove.com/wll/frothing_pitcher.cfm
It will give you enough room to froth/steam 6-8oz of milk with out over-flowing the pitcher.
