forgive the newbie but i am interested in this type of grinder. i would prefer to dose or weigh my beans before grinding so that i would only put the amount of beans in the hopper that i want to grind for that particular drink. would it hurt the machine or the burrs to do it this way. especially since at the end of the grind there would not be any beans. thx

Does this have a portafilter holder? If not, can one be added?

It does not have a holder and does not come with it. It still is a nice grinder.
Monday - Thursday: 9am-8pm
Friday: 9am-6pm
Saturday: 10am-3pm
Sunday: 12pm - 5pm

Michael Rosso ♦ William...Running the grinder with no beans is not the best thing for the burrs. Also even though you put an exact amount of beans in the machine, the burrs may not push all the grounds out. Thanks.
