I have tried many, many whole bean coffies trying to find a good, not bitter or smooth expresso. I very much like this roast. I recommend this if you like a smooth, non bitter taste. I drink only coffee lattes. I do not drink straight expresso shots.
I use an Ecobar Office Control machine.
