Eureka Mignon Crono Overview
The updated Eureka Mignon Crono Grinder features new and improved 50mm flat burrs with a brew-specific design so that you can get the right consistency with minimal variation for everything from cold brew to drip coffee. This machine-grade grinder features stepless micrometric adjustments and a grinding timer that helps with repeatability so you’re able to get your ideal grind and dose every time.
Features and Performance
The stepless micrometric adjustments allow you to grind the right consistency for brew-oriented methods like cold brew, french press, pour overs, and drip coffee. The update to the burrs makes the Crono better for these brew methods, and it also means this isn’t the ideal grinder for finer grinds for espresso drinks. The adjustment knob is clearly labeled and makes it easy to adjust for a finer or coarser grind, and once you find the perfect setting it’s easy to replicate with the numbers and notches on the knob.
The grinding timer can be set from 5 to 60 seconds. You can also grind manually by pressing and holding the grinding switch. It’s easy to repeat the same timing with the clearly labeled knob, so once you figure out the right timing for your dose or brew recipe, can make sure you can repeat that recipe without having to measure again.
The Eureka Crono features a 300g hopper, so you can grind for larger batches of coffee without having to refill your grinder. The included grounds container holds more than enough coffee for large batch brewing methods such as drip coffee machines. You can easily replace it with your french press carafe or pour over coffee basket as well.
