The History of Maromas featuring the Maromas Sampler

Latte art being made.Like many homegrown coffee brands, Maromas had humble beginnings from the family-owned company BiBiCo Coffee Roasters in Salerno, Italy. The Bianco and Bihler families were dedicated to coffee roasting since 1932 and continually developed as a privately owned and operated company. Members of the Bianco and Bihler families had an idea and a passion for gourmet coffee and in 2005 began their journey as Maromas Premium Coffee.

“A cup of coffee has started, improved or even saved uncountable human relationships. For this reason, we always continue to further develop this beautiful culture!” — Markus J. M. Bihler, Chairman Maromas Group

What started out as a dream has now become a career for the Maromas founders. The brand is based in Dubai, U.A.E. and also manages five offices and exports to over 30 countries around the world. Maromas coffee originates from 18 different countries where their coffee experts supervise the hand-picked green coffee beans ensuring it’s nothing less than the best quality. The beans are then shipped to a roastery in Salerno, Italy where the coffee is roasted, blended and processed. In addition to the brand sourcing their own coffee beans, they are also a distributor and supplier in the U.A.E. for European coffee machines and accessories which are compatible at home, in the office and in restaurants.
