The 2023 update to JURA E6 espresso machine adds features like a professional aroma grinder, 11 total specialty drink options, and 3D brewing technology to an already simple, yet intuitive design. For espressos, cappuccinos and other specialty coffee beverages, look no further than the E6.
With its 2023 update, the JURA E6 super-automatic espresso machine improves upon its already standout capabilities when it comes to brewing espresso and long coffees, as well as on-demand cappuccinos. The updated Professional Aroma Grinder improves grinding with less retained coffee, while the number of specialty drinks available has been upped from seven to 11. In addition to a number of other welcomed updates, many of JURA’s innovations make an appearance on the E6.
Additional updates to the E6 a streamlined full color display with flushed buttons, the utilization of JURA’s 8th generation brewing unit, 3D brewing technology, the addition of the extra shot for cappuccinos and the ability to brew with pre-ground via a bypass doser. The hot water spout has also been moved from behind the coffee spouts, the water tank is now grooved, the cup platform has a chrome finish, and most importantly the total number of one-touch specialties has increased.
The full menu of beverages contains the following drinks:
Espresso, 2x Espresso, Coffee, 2x Coffee, Caffe Barista, Americano, Macchiato, Cappuccino, Cappuccino Extra Shot, Portion of Milk Foam, Hot Water
Returning features include Pulse Extraction Process, which pulses water through the grounds in short intervals to get the most out of each extraction. Keeping your machine clean is as simple as ever, especially with the Clearyl Smart water filter installed in the 1.8L reservoir to ensure great tasting coffee and reduce the need for descaling. The reservoir also features an updated grooved design to hide water spots.
As on all JURA machines, the cleaning cycles are completely automated, and the E6 now features the JURA Cockpit feature that tracks maintenance cycles and alerts when the machine needs your attention. The Cockpit provides guided cleaning procedures that instruct you on which maintenance product is necessary and offers step-by-step instructions to ensure successful cleaning.
The JURA E6 is compatible with the WiFi Connect Accessory which is sold separately.
The 2023 iteration of the JURA E6 takes everything about what made the original great and incorporates fantastic updates on both a technical and visual level. Updates to the display in the form of flushed buttons provide a more streamlined aesthetic that brings the E6 more in line with the look and feel of the JURA E8. Improvements to brewing like the 8th generation brew unit, Professional Aroma Grinder and the ability to brew with pre-ground coffee are all welcome additions to one of JURA’s most accessible espresso machines.
The Professional Aroma Grinder is an updated version of JURA's Aroma G3 Grinder featuring an updated design that increases dosed coffee by 12.2% to improve coffee strength and flavor. Using a set of conical steel burrs, grinding on the E6 is efficient and less noisy than other super-automatics.

For a more seamless presentation the updated E6 features the same flushed button design as their E8. Located on either side of the screen, these buttons serve as an extension of the display and give the front of the machine a more streamlined appearance.

The E6 employs JURA’s innovative Pulse Extraction Process brewing system. As opposed to a constant flow, water is instead pulsed through the grounds in short intervals that extract greater intensity and aroma while shortening the overall brew time. With P.E.P., espresso and ristretto can be prepared with greater clarity and flavor than ever before.

JURA's Intelligent Water System makes use of RFID technology to automatically detect when the machine has been fitted with a water filter. The CLEARYL Smart / Pro Smart water filter protects against limescale, chlorine, and heavy metals in your water to preserve the flavor of your coffee and extend the lifespan of your machine. Simply install it and JURA’s I.W.S. will do the rest.
