Owning the Quamar M80 Manual

The Quamar M80 Manual is a stepped grinder fitted with an adjustable doser which dispenses grinds directly into your portafilter with the pull of a lever. The doser is easy to adjust, simply remove the lid and turn the revealed knob to the left for a larger dose, or the right for a smaller one. Once you have it set, the M80 Manual will continue to dose that amount from then on. The M80 Manual is commercial quality and boasts an ETL certification, so it’s great in a cafe or entertainer’s kitchen. Fill up the doser when you need to brew several shots in a row for your clients or guests. The grind is adjustable across a vast 60 settings for a lot of fine tuning of the grind. As the name suggests, this particular M80 model is only able to grind manually, and features an on/off switch. Or, as we like to call it, an easy button.

Using the M80 Manual is simple. The hopper holds a whole pound of coffee, and an integrated hopper stopper allows you to easily remove the hopper for burr cleaning or to swap between beans. Turn the collar below the hopper to make adjustments to the grind, then simply turn it on to grind up to 9.88 oz into the doser, stopping whenever you prefer. Pull the sturdy stainless lever to dispense your dose, and easily tamp it using the integrated tamper. Internally, each of the M80’s feature 63mm burrs backed up by a powerful 460 watt motor for a high grinding speed of 1600 RPM. Quamar’s commitment to quality components and Italian manufacturing sure makes for a reliable set of grinders. If you want the added functionality of a timer so the doser will fill up and shut off on its own, check out the M80 Timer; for programmable timed grinding, the M80 On Demand is the next step up.
  • Adjustable Doser

The M80 Manual’s doser holds up to 9.88 oz. of coffee, which is dispensed by the pull of a lever. Turning the adjustment knob, conveniently located under the top, to the left adds grounds to the dose, while turning it to the right subtracts them. It’s also outfitted with a convenient tamper.
